Spring Concert

Each Spring, V2H hosts a concert to generate funds for missions and to celebrate graduating students. This year’s concert will be on May 21st at 6:30pm at New Vision Church 479 inman Rd, Fayetteville, GA 30215.

The concert will feature some of our graduating seniors who will perform some of their favorite songs. There will also be a few others songs the entire team has worked on to share with our audience. A love offering will be collected to help fund our mission work for the summer.

For those looking for which songs to work on and have ready for the concert, a play/practice list can be found here

Love Feast March 10-11

This year, Vision 2 Hear is hosting their annual Love Feast on March 10-11. A Love Feast is fast for 30hours in order to pray and focus on needs of others around the world. We have a matching fund this year up to $1000. So please help us reach our goal by donating today. Any gift will help and all gifts are tax-deductible.

Your gift will go a long way in helping us help those around the world who are in dire need. Thanks so much for participating with us and sharing the love of Christ.

Helping Those In Need

Even though George has not been to Nigeria for a few years now, Vision 2 Hear is continuing to support and help several people there. Below you will see pics of several people that V2H has reached with help over 2016 and provided funds for medical assistance along with material needs. Please continue to pray for our friends in Nigeria as life there is difficult. In all, we have sent funds to 6 people in Nigeria this year, several on a monthly basis to assist with living. Thanks to each of you who have given to help those in need!

We helped Aboy with some funds when part of his house collapsed.

Ike and Aboy are a couple of the young men we have helped in the past.

El Salvador Continuing To Expand

The pics were taken around Christmastime 2016. Vision 2 Hear was able to send down a little bit of money to help support three of our missionaries and their work for Christmas. The pics demonstrate some of the things they were able to do with the funds and the people they are reaching for Christ. Please continue to pray for our friends in El Salvador and the work God has opened up for us to do working with so many who need to know Christ.

On June 1st, I will be traveling back to El Salvador with Trevor Jenkins to work with some of these students once again! Almost everyone in this picture is deaf and part of our WAVE team in El Salvador. From June 1-11, we will be working together with them, performing songs and having a day camp with games, Bible studies and worship.

Amazon FiresOne of the things many of you are aware of is that we have been helping sponsor many of these kids with school supplies and helping them with their education. As part of that effort, we are bringing down several Amazon Fires that were donated for them to use in the school for reading and learning.

Not only are we brings some to the deaf kids but we are also able to give a couple to Daniel who is working teaching English to the students who are victims of gang violence.

Daniel meets with these students once-a-week teaching them English, tutoring them and also hosting Bible studies. God is using him in a great way to introduce these kids to a new way of life from gangs and also in Christ. Continue to pray for them as gang violence is a huge issue in El Salvador. In fact, El Salvador is the murder capital of the world. For more information about this, read this article: El Salvador Murder Capital.

These pics were taken on my last trip when we were able to give them school supplies donated from people in the USA. Please keep them in your prayers.

Another cool thing we get to be part of is hosting a camp for unbelievers on June 3-5. I’ll be the keynote speaker sharing the gospel on how God is searching for people and has come for them to enter into a relationship with them through Jesus Christ. Please keep this event in your prayers as we love people into God’s Kingdom.

India Pastor Visits

Korean church slider

Recently, Pastor Rajendra from Vijayawada, India was welcomed to share his testimony at the Korean Baptist Church of Havelock, NC. Pastor Rajendra has been a friend of Vision 2 Hear for 3 years and we are in a partnership with his ministry, Sion Assembly Church. V2H and SAC have WAVE Teams and we are involved in sponsoring some orphans through SAC.

Pastor Rajendra shared his testimony about how he came to know Christ, along with some powerful praise to God for how God worked in healing his mother of cancer. He also challenged everyone to live a life of faith, to develop a relationship with Christ and to live sacrificially.

The Korean Church hosted a fundraising event a couple weeks ago, selling korean meals and egg rolls to give toward sponsoring orphans of SAC. We were very pleased to be able to give Pastor Rajendra $1280.00 for helping toward getting orphans off the streets of India.

While visiting the Korean Church and friends of V2H, we had lots of fun hanging out and sharing more about the ministry. We are excited about our continued relationship and partnership connections of the Korean Baptist Church and SAC/V2H. Thank you Pastor Chung and everyone at the Korean Baptist Church of havelock for your generous gift!
